Ghost Town Locals - Ready and Locked
they were a local band from the sj back a couple years ago before they all graduated high school and broke up. they were easily the best local ska band i have ever had the pleasure of seeing live. needless to say, me and ken pretty much followed these guys around for a good while. they had some ridiculous talent. notably, the drummer was 15 when they recorded Who Brought the War to the Dance Floor, their only LP….sadly. i’m pretty sure i remember hearing the sax was all state jersey too…..not shabby. anywho, this is my fav song by them and still ranks as one of my fav ska songs of all time.
long live girls that sing ska.
oh, and, soixante is next……but who’s counting?
